Gelo is Professor of Anthropology, Division of Behavioral and Cultural Sciences and Department of Anthropology at the University of Texas at San Antonio, and since 2004 has served as dean of UTSA’s College of Liberal and Fine Arts (COLFA). The Daniel Gelo Papers include manuscript drafts, correspondence, committee files, grant files, documentary footage, and lectures related to Gelo's career at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
